Miami Here We Come!!!

Tomorrow is the the big day - the long awaited second opinion.  We are all routing for you Bettiann!

Hi everyone!  Here is a site that we can all use to write down our thoughts and to update Bettiann's progress as she starts out on her new medical journey.   Please add your thoughts and updates anytime!

The best news update came yesterday, when Bettiann's insurance company agreed to fly her out for a second opinion in Miami, as well as authorizing her potential treatment there.  She is currently diagnosed with a rare condition called MDS (Myelodysplastic syndrome) - CMML subtype.  Fortunately, through Krishna's help, she is able to meet soon with a specialist in MDS in Miami to help determine her treatment options.  We are routing for you Bettiann!!!
